Kim’s biggest strength is her ability to see the (large) project as a whole and to clearly offer feedback on how to reorganize the sections and chapters of the book. I went to Kim looking for line editing; however, she ended up reorganizing the structure in a way that I could not have done on my own. She read the manuscript and offered fantastic advice on how to rearrange the work: the first comment was to switch the order of two of my chapters, based on the emphasis I stated I was aiming for. What an impactful change! She really helped me conceptualize what went where and helped cut down on redundancies. She made the book what it is: slimmer, with a logical structure, and parts taken out that detracted from the overall narrative. She is simply fantastic at the level that many of us faculty and writers cannot be, perhaps too stuck in the details to see the overarching framework.

Kim provided a beautiful well-organized and very clearly written book at the end of the process. Following this, I was able to quickly address readers’ comments and also changed some of the wording to suit my word choice. Her quality is top rate. I am truly lucky to have found Kim and I have suggested that my colleagues contact her for her services.
